Zevia invited us to be a part of their exciting rebrand. Our 3D rendering and motion design came together here to execute a strategic brand refresh, building on incredible design work by Turner Duckworth. This rebranding endeavor marks a significant milestone in Zevia's journey, and we're stoked to be a part of it!
At the center of Spruce's work on Zevia's rebrand is an extensive package of over 500 static renders of every Zevia flavor, in every variety and in multiple languages. From the reflections on the bare aluminum, to the lighting gradation on the labels, every element was carefully crafted to make these tasty drinks look as appealing as they taste! For an extra layer of refreshment, we added a coating of condensation and ice chunks, with a unique layout for every single render.
Alongside the package of hero product renders, Spruce also set out to create a series of "Still Life" renders. These aimed to emulate surreal tabletop photo shoots, that placed the cans in abstract environments. The process began with an intensive brainstorming phase, where Spruce's team collaborated with Zevia to conceptualize ideas that would encapsulate the essence of the new brand identity through motion and static renders. This involved understanding the updated brand values, visual elements, and messaging to ensure the motion graphics would align seamlessly.
Combining everything we learned about this new and improved Zevia style and visual language, we created this high-energy sizzle piece to unveil the new branding! We aimed to employ a harmonious blend of aesthetics while maintaining clarity throughout this piece. Have a look at the reveal spot below!
