Zevia invited us to step into the playful world of Zevia Kidz, inspired by the nostalgia of our own after-school adventures. We worked alongside our very good friend and illustrator James Immekus to create this Zany hand-drawn world for the cans to kick around in. Then we mixed in some bouncy 3D renders to bring this feller to life!
In this short animated spot, Zevia Kidz cans take center stage as lively companions, turning mundane after-school routines into a symphony of color and youthful energy. From cans jumping on trampolines, kicking soccer balls, to music lessons – each activity becomes exciting.
Through a blend of 3D rendering and motion design, we've crafted a colorful world, the fizz of excitement mirrors the fizzy delight of Zevia Kidz. Cheers to guilt-free fun and a healthier choice with Zevia Kidz!
In collaboration with James Immekus, we brainstormed a handful of after-school activities paired with the enjoyment of a zero-sugar soda. Below are his storyboards based on our thought process that laid down the foundation of the spot's overall flow and direction.
